About

Picture of me

I am another contributor to the information overload that is the internet. I am a software developer, and my name is Todd McKinney. I think that I’ve been doing this long enough to know a few things about it, so I hope you find the blog entertaining and informative. If you don’t, I’m sure there’s something else out there for you to read.

From my perspective, I always approach things like a student. There is more to know, and there are things you haven’t thought about. Software is incredibly complex. Systems that are built using software are even more so. This blog is a glimpse into some of the things that I’m coming across, when I think to put them up here.

    Todd–

You were kind enough to provide a nice write-up of one of my early podcasts, along with comments that got me to think more deeply about “user generated content” and the Social Web in general. I’ve just finished a book on the topic –it’s on Amazon now but if you’ll shoot me your mailing address I’ll send you a free copy.

    Thx-
    Dave
